 Safety is our top priority. After reviewing your application, we will contact you to conduct a thorough background check. This critical step ensures the safety and security of our passengers, which is paramount to our operations.

What We Check:

• National Criminal Search: To identify any criminal history that might impact your suitability for transporting children as a driver and/or independent contractor partner.
• Sex Offender Search: To ensure that applicants are not listed on any national sex offender registries.
• Social Security Number Trace: To authenticate identity and verify personal history.
• Global Watchlist Search: To screen against national and international security databases, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

These checks help us maintain a safe environment for our passengers and are a crucial step in our hiring process. By applying to become a driver and/or independent contractor partner with School Cab, you acknowledge and consent to undergo these procedures, affirming the accuracy of the information you provide.  Once your background check is successfully completed, we will schedule a virtual or in-person interview. This step allows us to discuss your application in more detail and understand your approach to independent contracting. 

If you are selected to partner with us, you will be invited to participate in an orientation session where you will learn about our operational protocols, safety standards, and the technology tools we use. This orientation is designed to equip you with all the necessary information to start your journey as a School Cab independent contractor successfully.
